Thank you for this recipe Sylvia ~ I was looking for a good recipe for sweet and sour chicken

What I was doing: Making oven fried chicken. Cutting them into pieces then pouring sweet & sour sauce over them because I could not find a recipe that I liked.

This look great and I'll be making it on Wednesday to go with my chicken fried rice.

Q: I am out of balsamic vinegar ~ could I use Malt vinegar instead?

You could but I think red wine vinegar or sherry vinegar must be better.

got some balsamic vinegar ~ chicken IS marinating~ looks good so far ~ will report on outcome

Oh and I'm making chicken fried rice and making GINGER SPICED COOKIES for dessert
