Sweet and Spicy Beef Kebabs...This marinade is so simple and we really liked it. I used it on top

sirloin kebabs last night. It reminds me of a teriyaki but even better. I cut larger cubes of meat, More like 1.5 to 2 inches, as my top sirloin steak was quite thick and marinated for a little more than 4 hours.

Sweet & Spicy Beef

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup rice vinegar (not seasoned)

1/4 cup (packed) light brown sugar

1 Tbs Sriracha (Asian chile sauce)

3 cloves garlic, grated

1 1/2 lbs beef tri-tip, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 onion, cut into 1-inch wedges

vegetable oil, for brushing

4 scallions, cut into 1-inch pieces

8 10-inch skewers

1. Combine the soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, Sriracha and garlic in a

large bowl. Add the beef and onion and toss to coat; cover and refrigerate 1

to 4 hours.

2. Preheat a grill to medium high and brush the grates with vegetable oil.

3. Thread the beef, onion and scallions onto eight 10-inch skewers and brush

with more oil. Grill the kebabs, turning occasionally, until marked, about 7

minutes for medium rare.

Thanks Curious. I missed that one but I'm not surprised. I just don't

like beef anymore so I often don't give those recipes the attention I should. John loves beef and I try to throw in something beef so he doesn't feel deprived. However, how do you think the teriyaki would work with pork?
