Just follow the directions. I started my oven at 500 F but once I got the bread into it I lowered the temp to 450 F and it was fine. After 30 minutes I took the lid off my pot (heavy stainless steel) and left it in the oven for another 15 minutes.

Can't wait till my second batch of dough is ready tomorrow morning. This time round will be much easier I'm sure, having used the correct amount of ingredients.
