Get this...we are a city on I-5 which I believe runs from Canada all the way to Mexico
We have a population of over 100,000. Our largest post office which had a sorting center, closed the sorting center. So, now, if we mail to our neighbor a few doors down or across the river, the mail now is trucked 4 hours away to a sorting center in the state capital of Sacramento, sorted then sent back to Redding. We now have to figure 2 to 3 days for a turn around rather than overnight.
