3/4 of a bag of Trader Joe's frozen meatballs that I baked first to get rid of the fat. Also used Savoy cabbage. Delicious.

Did you like the TJ frozen meatballs, Janet? (and do you usually like frozen meatballs)...

I haven't found any I like at the grocery store, but haven't tried TJs yet.

I'd rate them good, not great and not as good as homemade. ......

Fine for this soup purpose and to have on hand for a kids meal, or emergency appetizer with barbecue sauce, especially if you bake the fat out of them first. I've never used any other frozen meatballs. Hope this helps.
