Oh! I'm so glad to hear that! I was thinking about getting one for my mom

for Christmas. She's had two back surgeries and is having trouble lately. This seals the deal. Thanks for the follow up.

 
I finally gave up on beautiful rugs that you have to wash, and went to natural reeds/grass mats

that you just shake outside or wash off with a hose. Are the gel mats heavy for taking outside and shaking? Or do you vacuum them? I'm assuming that any spills just wipe up with a sponge?

 
Unfortunately, they are very heavy. You just mop over them or wipe them down. I think

they specifically say to stay away from the vacuum.
I really like them a lot and would recommend.
I did see the basic color ones at Bed, Bath and Beyond. With one of their 20% coupons, a deal could be worth while!
