flourless cake above and have to say that ours came out deliciously rich and yummy. I baked it in something like a 13x9 ceramic baking pan (a bit smaller I think) but in a water bath and it was great. I just combined frozen rasberries and blackberries and mashed them together through a sieve and served with the sauce and vanilla ice cream.
Also my strawberry shortcake was, as usual, a great hit and I thank you all again for helping me find the recipe.
