Thanks to everyone who recommended the Biscoff Cookies - They're great!

I can only get them at Target, and now they are gone and not sure if they will return. gahhhhhh

5.00 shipping to lower 48, 12.95 to AK, HI, and Canada on $26.00

postage should be based on weight, not amount spent. kills me to pay the extra when flat rates are the same anywhere in US.

Ang, have 'em sent to me and I promise I won't eat too many before sending 'em on to you. smileys/wink.gif

No, but really--if you need something shipped to you, get in touch with me and I'll be happy to help.

Although, sending it on our own may well be more expensive than the site is charging, unless it's a

small quantity, and can fit into the small USPS prepaid box which is about $5.50. Plus, the site's prices for the cookies are well below what they sell for individually in the stores, at least the ones over here, ie, $4.99 at my supermarket (haven't checked Target yet).

Oh just go ahead get me started on shipping and the ubiquitous, underhanded "Handling" charge...

I have this mad image of a caveman who's job is to smack his hands all over the object which represents the "Handling" charge.

The place I used to order my cello music charges by the price, not sensibly by the weight. When I order $100 of sheet music it fits in an envelope. It is not packed in a box. They want the same shipping charge as if I had just bought a heavy bulky item. Tried to reason with them and they would hear none of it. "Our shipping costs are high (so we're going to gouge as many of our customers as we can like we're doing you!).

I now only shop at them as a very last resort and I used to spend a lot of money with them.

yeah, the shipping cost is lower than flat rate medium, but we could fit probably double or triple

the boxes of cookies into a flat rate box for the price of $26 of product shipping cost. anyway, I sure appreciate all the offers and if I get desperate, I will make it a challenge to see how many boxes we can cram into a flat rate medium box. I have 2 unopened packages, but I took them down to the river, so I'll have to wait at least a week to enjoy.
