chop recipe at #1743. They were delicious and made a lovely, colorful presentation.

I used double the garlic (of course, LOL) and less sugar than called for, and I'd use even less, or none at all, the next time.

Because we lo carb, I made a "pilaf" of small cubes of peeled eggplant, onion, & mushrooms with the grated cheese. It made for a very nice Med accompaniment. Thanks for posting this recipe.

I'm moving (again) next week. My husband has been away for the last two months, so I think this might be the first dinner I make for us in our new kitchen.
