Thanxsgiving coming up and I ordered a boneless turkey ????

Joanie, do you mean a butterflied turkey?

I've done one on the bbq. With butter, limes and tequila. Let me know if that's what you have.
Serve it with cranberry salsa and citrus tequila punch. I think the smoked paprika sweet potatoes would go well with this.

It has just been deboned...so now I can do whatever with it....your idea sounds....

Grilled Whole Turkey Loco

1 turkey (12 lbs)
1 stick of butter
juice of 6 limes
2 T tequila
2 T oregano
Have butcher butterfly the turkey.
Melt butter and add the rest of the basting ingredients. S&P to taste.
Place bird skin side down on grill. Use the indirect method. Mop bird with lime mixture. Grill 15 minutes, turn, mop some more. Grill another 15 minutes, turn and mop some more. Turn and mop with sauce every 20 minutes, for about 1 1/2-2 hrs.
