That's getting an awful lot of sugar, though, with that fruit

What you basically do is have a fruit or two and add some greens.

Today I made one...it was 2 cupfuls of blueberries, 1 frozen banana and 1 stalk of celery. I added some herbal powder to it and liquid stevia, but it was not necessary.

It's basically a minimal fruit smoothie with any kind of green...sometimes I add just a few leaves (chopped and frozen)of kale, collards, turnip or mustard greens...you can use red leaf lettuce or romaine, any of the mixed greens for salads

You can mix then in a cup or 2 of good water, or you can use apple juice, orange juice, tea, etc. For weight loss, though, water is what I'm sure this guy used, based on the book cited.

Yes, in this one 2 c. was a bit much for 1 stalk celery. Usually the combos are more balanced. The

idea is to take any smoothie you're making and add leaves of lettuce, or any green, to make it more healthy.
