The 25 Most Popular Items at Trader Joes

I buy none of those products at TJ's. One of my recent favorites is their sponges

They come flat in the package and plump up when you add water. Love them.
I don't buy any of their frozen products, or prepared foods, except for some of the packaged marinated meats.

I love the rosemary marcona almonds...

but what I go for on a regular basis is the low sodium broth, chicken and veggie, their salsas, some of the frozen veggies, like the artichoke hearts, roasted corn, and some fruit, like mango chunks.

I also haunt the fresh produce for when the figs show up and I grab those. I can't buy a fresh fig in our supermarkets for less $1 each.

Their cheeses always suck me in, like the Israeli feta and they have imported grana padano...which is my favorite grating cheese.

since I only buy things I can pack in a suitcase, it's chocolate, dijon mustard, nuts especially

shelled pistachios and hazelnuts, vitamin b12, oatmeal soap, flowers for the hotel room or hosts.

Volusia County is throwing money at TJ to get a distribution center in Daytona Beach.

There is already a store in Gainesvilles, but this distribiution center would support the Jacksonville (north), Orlando (west) and Melbourne (south) stores.

Does that mean there would be a "shop"able store...or just a big old unaccessible warehouse??

The only thing on the list I have ever bought is fennel. But it just goes to show what variety they

have that I fill my cart twice a week with other stuff.

Oh no. Since I'm in walking distance of TJ, I did NOT need to know this!! Thanks Maria smileys/frown.gif

Joe Joes (Christmas mint ones) and pound plus bar -- always keep on hand!

Plus, love their nuts of all kinds, fruits and veggies, stuffing mix, Joe's O's Multigrain cereal, organic whole oatmeal, spiced apple cider, greek yogurt, frozen organic veggies, chocolate chips (they had fabulous pb chips at Christmas...seasonal item only), spices, basmatic and jasmine rice, cocoa powder, baking powder, cheezz crispies (like Cheetos)

It's a bit crazy this time of year--lots of events, and lots of spring weeds for me to police.

I buy Gouda, but I usually get the smoked which

probably isn't the one they're referring to.

Has anyone tried the Thai spiced almonds they just started selling? Same spices (chili, kaffir lime, etc.) they used in the Thai peanuts for years. I could inhale a bag of these with no problem. Also makes a great condiment for Laarb!
