LOL! I would heartily endorse this book. It's very comprehensive and includes a ton of
tips and techniques. Cindy has taught all over the United States for Sur La Table and to be selected to write their book, that's a huge endorsement. It took her 2 years to write the book and frankly, it shows. Cindy writes in an approachable manner and teams that with a solid base in the science of baking. Noteworthy information about how and why things work are loaded into the sidebars and where appropriate, the recipes themselves.
I'm booking Cindy for a cooking demo out in the San Juan Islands in June. If we schedule the group visit for the same time period, there's a good chance I could get her to come do a class for us. She's super fun.
