The baby shower was a great success!

Everything else was equally as nice as the dessert table...

My SIL I think did pretty good at her ombre cake, even if the icing slid off it after I took these photos (good for her trying to make real buttercream icing). We were mostly able to prop it up and cover the mistakes with flowers.

I was very impressed by all the work SIL and nieces/friends of mom did as they all worked to pull this off.

So pinterest worthy!

Looks so fancy! I am going to a baby shower next sunday, I am expecting crockpots.. (Not

that there is anything wrong with that!), but your nieces shower is very elegant! How beautiful, and your cookies are lovely! They are actually perfect for the setting!

Such an exciting time w a new baby!!!

Maria, what a lovely and elegant presentation! I have never seen such a beautiful

baby shower. However, lately I am hearing them referred to as a baby sprinkle....is this something new?

The beautiful large windows in that home certainly framed the presentation perfectly.

It's actually a rented clubhouse in a housing development on a big lake with fountains

It only cost $100 to rent for the day! The setting really took everything over the top. Wish it was near me here in the bay area, but then it would cost waaay more.

Beautiful job by everyone!! Yes, I can see the buttercream is way too soft but good job!

Especially by someone not used to decorating. I must say, those are some fancy smancy strawberries!! Kudos to everyone.

The berries and some of the others were purchased/made by pros. The glitter on the berries looked...

amazing. I've never seen such sparkly glitter that was edible.

(I want some!)
