The cupcake blog asked for reader's favorites. Can't wait to try some of these. Check it out!

Ohmigosh Cyn. I wonder if I will live long enough to try all of these. LOL

What a fantastic array of cupcakes. Where would one get the cupcake papers shown in the pictures. I have not seen them in the stores. Would not know exatly what to ask for. Any ideas???

The green tea bubble cream cupcake sure sounds interesting. maybe find the liners at a party store?

I know for the holidays, even our walmart has seasonal cupcake liners, which I buy up when I see them. Right now lots of Valentine-ey stuff. I looked at the Grasshopper cupcake recipe and she calls for 1 tsp batter, then a mint, then 1/2 tsp batter to cover---for a regular cupcake. No way would that fill that liner enough. Maybe the UK tsp is larger.

Dr. Pepper cupcakes, my son will love it! He's a Pepper too!

Very nice! Question about matcha green tea powder: Is it flavorful? I'm looking

for something natural to tint epicurious's pistachio ice cream. I don't want to use food dye, but I also don't want the pistachio flavor impacted.

I've made it "au natural" and it is delicious, but for presentation purposes, I think it could use a stronger color.

Marilyn I have used matcha green tea powder and yes, it is flavorful- and the color is

sort of odd when baked into something. I made green tea batter bread not long ago. It has a strong green tea flavor and is sort of a grayish green- not a pretty green. I don't think it is right for your pistachio ice cream.

Marilyn, I called Dreyers' Ice Cream and they use Yellow dye #5,

which is a food grade dye, to make the ice cream green. I doubt if it would be available to the regular consumer. You peaked my curiosity, so I went hunting. LOL

My pleasure Mis. Another site sells them but I didn't post it. You have to buy 1000 and unless Mar

has some free time (again) I didn't think you'd want them (LOL) Plus she said the postage is high.
