Please have your family to watch this video about a common kitchen oil fire.

Just one cup of water can create a huge fireball, enough to set your home ablaze!

Since water is heavier than oil, it sinks to the bottom of the cooking oil where it instantly superheats. The explosive force of the steam sends burning oil everywhere.

On an open field test, it created a fireball 30 feet high!

 
A friend that is a Fire Marshal did a demo to try and teach this....

he did it at a mall and invited the cooks from local restaurants to come also. You would be surprised that people don't have a clue about what to do.
