The green beans are in at the Farmer's Market, and here is one of my favorite recipes

I love fresh green beans roasted--like eating candy. Also just stir fried with a little

butter or flavored olive oil and then with a squeeze of lemon juice and zest of a lemon.

 
I love the lemon infused green beans too....usually how I fix them, but those little

cherub tomatoes were so tasty! Green beans are one veggie I have not roasted yet.

Oh, then there are the ones I make for Thanksgiving. Crisp bacon, saute onion and garlic, add fresh green beans with a good tomato sauce, a little chicken stock and cook until done. Very yummy and our family loves them this way. I add s & p, and a bit of Turkish Oregano.

 
Your t'giving beans sound a bit like a dish here called Greek green beans. And yes to

the blistered cherry tomatoes added to various veggies. Did some sauteed zucchini, onions and tomatoes the other day that were a hit.
