The ice kingdom...

It snowed, it rained, it froze.

All glistens since it is now covered in ice.

We are the ice kingdom.

It is still falling, the freezing rain.

The most amazing thing is that the other side of the street has been dark since 6ish. We are not. We lost power 3 times, but here we are with stereos and lights and the other side of the street is dark. I am giving thanks to the power gods on the hour.

All is now coated in ice; every branch, limb, and otherwise. The curly hazelnut tree looks stunning as it glistens in the uplight.

Thank god that we have wood for the fireplace. It's been burning non-stop.

Thank goodness.

I'm glad to say we just caught the southern edge of it. Yesterday's rain froze on the surface, though, and we got a skiff of snow covering it.

Tell me again about this global warming thing!

Isn't it beautiful when the bark of the trees is wet and dark, then it snows and the snow clings to

their upper surfaces? I like to look at that. Briefly. Very briefly, please.

We finally got snow too. And it all came from the US. Thanks y'all.

ice storms are as beautiful as they are dangerous. I hope you have all you need

to safe and happy inside!

wow, I just heard on the radio that are warning everyone in Vermont to stay home due to
