The many uses of duct tape!!

I made Penny's sugar cookies this weekend which are in tried and true recipes. They are the best roll out sugar cookies you will ever taste and the dough is a dream to work with. Well, I always use a pastry cloth and rolling pin cover. I taped the pastry cloth on all sides to my counter with duct tape and it made things so much easier as the cloth did not slide around. Brilliant, huh???

Penny's Sugar Cookies-- I've rolled the dough into balls and flattened with a glass dipped in sugar

Then swirled two different colors of Sugar Baby Frosting.

Recipe was originally used by someone who baked for Starbucks and taught classes.

There are only 2 things you need.....

duct tape and WD40. If something moves and it shouldn't, use duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD 40.

I made a bunch of Penny's SC too, and 2 batches made into chocolate dough. very nice. I

left out the almond flavoring with the chocolate dough. It made really nice spiral sliced cookies when stacked and rolled with the plain dough

judy - you're a scream! my nephew is the duct-tape-king and should have that saying on a t-shirt!
