Actually - the mixer arrived on Wed. (WOW - that was fast) but DH had surgery on Tuesday and was in the hospital a few days (in December he was diagnosed with prostrate cancer. He's only 46 and his was of the 'faster-growing' kind - he had his removed. He is doing very well; one more hurdle to go - getting back the pathology report on Tuesday. I hope this wasn't inappropriate that I mentioned this). Now that he's home and resting in bed I decided to finish up those sugar cookies for my next 'Girls Group' project.
The mixer performed beautifully! It is not exactly the same as my old model...I think a bit newer...but same color and finish and size. I'm loving it!
I still have the phone number/extension of the customer service rep that helped me. I'm going to call in a few minutes and thank her for putting a rush on the machine.
