The wonders of nature. I just have to share this very precious photo of a

florisandy

Well-known member
butterfly that my friend and neighbor took today. The timing and photography were spot-on! I've taken photos from Robinson's Preserve here in Bradenton as well (a stone's throw from us), but this photo "takes the cake." She was very fortunate to have the opportunity to take this magnificent shot while taking a leisurely jaunt today! God bless nature!https://recipeswap.org/fun/wp-content/uploads/Finer_Kitchens/524623_10152383458670471_1697169326_n.jpg

What beautiful colors! I love butterflies when they are out and about; I somehow get

nervous when they are all in a big building in an exhibit.

I also love butterflies and this one is really pretty. Saw several monarchs this fall, probably

on their way South.

oh man...is there ANYONE else out there who saw two big eyes and nostrils first? Before

seeing the beautiful butterfly that was actually there???

Anyone?

Really? No one?

I think that's what nature intended--to scare off predators. Perhaps you were hungry?
