These are beautiful! Check them out.

Those are absolutely beautiful !!! I would love to make the Christmas tree

does anyone know of a pattern? I will have to look back on the site, because I didn't read any of the articles, I only looked at the pictures!

I am SO stealing some of these ideas for my gingerbread entry. I was conscripted

into making a gingerbread house for a fund raiser. I said yes BEFORE I found out it has to stay UPRIGHT on display for 2 MONTHS!

And, yes, I am that panic-stricken that LARGE CAPITAL LETTERS are oozing out of the bubble over my head.

90% of the outside has to be edible and it sits on a base of 24x24" so I can't do a wee small thing!

...oh, and small note here, I've NEVER made one before! EVER!

PS: However, I already have a contingency plan if it falls down: a piece of fondant that looks like plywood with the words "Hurricane Katrina Did This!"

Mar...there was a link awhile ago with amazing gingerbread houses

you might want to try and find it. We did them last year, and there can be some "weight of icing" problems. You might want to think fondant. We did it for fun so it didn't matter. I will try and find the recipes we used. If I can find it, I will link it for you.

Dawn, The link will not go to the product. In the search place "Cookie Tree Kit" and ..

it will come up.

Just gorgeous. If I have a kitchen at Christmas, I may try some of these.

Some looked quite easy, like the chocolate cupcakes with the snowflake of confectioner's sugar. And the gingerbread tree looked so beautiful.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Gay, I will take a look at it tomorrow. The concept seems

easy enough, hopefully the execution will be easy too. Thanks!

Gorgeous, but way too much sugar for me. I'm so glad to see cupcakes coming into

their own. I don't know why more brides don't choose a cupcake tree for their weddings--so practical as well as beautiful. However, if you're following Today Show's Wedding; I thought the cupcake stack they had as one of the choices was so ugly that it has set back the choice of cupcake trees by years. Lovely website, thanks
