I'd scale it up by a half. (It made it easier for me to convert to weights smileys/smile.gif
3 sticks (12 oz) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup (7 oz) sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups (15 oz) all-purpose flour
3/4 cup chopped pecans
