This cheese bread is crazy good! Thought maybe it would be too much spice but it's not!

I have been looking for a clone cheese bread for YEARS! It was at a store between Valley Forge and

Trenton off the PA turnpike that I would stop at on the way home to NJ from work in PA. This was back in 1994-1996. The store was taken over by the Whole Foods chains and WFs has never made as good a bread as that one. So cheesy...slightly spicy...did I mention cheesy? Obscenely good.

This had oozy cheese all the way through the spiral...not just piled on top like most cheese breads. I think it had jalapeno...and lots of cheddar.

humm, maybe I shouldn't figure this one out. I can feel my arteries slamming shut as I type this.

PS: It wasn't a Sunflower grocery store...maybe a Bread and Circus? Fresh Fields?

I did. I used a sharp provolone. Gave some to a friend and she said it was too spicy

So if you don't like spice cut it back a bit.

Enjoyed this. At first, I thought, cheese within brioche is overkill. But I think it works. I

particularly liked to just yank off a piece as a snack. Thanks Cyn
