this is funny---are you a bundt pan snob??

I'm not a bundt pan snob (I have the regular pan, the castle, the cottage

and the one that looks a bit like Sydney Opera House), but I was a spray goo snob - the spray had messed up so many of my baking pans that I got all righteous about never using it. But cleaning those finicky pans is so difficult and such a nuisance, so one day I went out and bought some Baker's Joy with flour because so many people here recommended it. What a miracle! Everything just FALLS out of the pans! My daughter was baking muffins the other day and asked me where the butter was for greasing them, and I just told her to use the Baker's Joy - her eyes nearly fell out of her head. But the next time she baked, she asked me for it, so it must be good!
I am now a closet baking spray snob - I use it, but I feel guilty smileys/frown.gif

I loved the article - thanks for posting.

I actually didn't know people felt that way about bundt pans! Must be a Midwest thing---we love our

bundt cakes!

Oh, yes. That whole scene is hilarious. I think the main benefit of a bundt pan is that...

there is no danger of a cake which falls in the middle.

The hole feature is one I love because I can put a small vase of flowers down in them middle as

a nice garnish. The ladies really like that at tea parties or shower parties or brunches!
