This is so pretty it makes me weepy: Tomato Cheesecake

I tasted some of those black cherry tomatoes at the market and they are really good.

 
It looks beautiful - but I can't get my mind around the texture of the raw toms w/cheesecake.

I wonder how wonderful it would be with roasted tomatoes on top?

 
Not something I would like either....

when I saw the title, I thought that maybe the tomatoes would have been roasted and semi-pureed, then that would be used in a type of "swirl" pattern in a savory cheesecake

the raw tomatoes piled on top just don't appeal to me at all...

but, as in everything it's all a matter of personal taste, different folks, different strokes smileys/wink.gif

Especially when some of the tomatoes still have stems on them

no doubt done for photo purposes ....but still. I love the photos but not the idea, so much.
