This may be a really stupid question. I bake and send cookies to my BIL in Florida

throughout the cooler months. I feel like baking and would like to send a variety pack to him. Thought I would have to steer clear of chocolate but I just read that anything with chocolate chips, not chunks, will be fine because of the stabilizers. Really?

Don't plan on anything frosted or filled ......any other suggestions?
