RECIPE: This was a hit (Again) last night... Cheezz rec: REC: Peking Sesame Beef (stir fry)

RECIPE:
Oh yum, and I bet this would be excellent with fresh red tomatoes thrown it at the end just to heat

One of my favorite dishes was a bell pepper, beef and tomato dish at our local, long time, Chinese dive. I had it once and it was stellar. Second time - not so much. Different cook, maybe.

Mongolian Beef

I've made this twice in recent weeks. Similar, yet different.

Not having the red peppers, I added crushed pepper flakes, but otherwise followed the recipe to a T. DH who isn't a big Asian food fan (too many veggies), looked at the leftovers and said there was just enough for his next dinner, what other leftovers were there that I could eat.

This looks so good. Are the sides of the wok pan high enough so that this dish does not splatter

all over the place? Thanks for posting/ The photo is fabulous.

I actually made it in a 12" frying pan. Really no splatter.

Served in with sugar snap peas. A complete meal and great leftovers (well, so I understand).smileys/smile.gif
