This was a hit last night. Traca's posted rec for Artichoke Nibbles

A funny story - I have been making these for years and they are

always a big hit. One time when I made them four people were really chowing down on them commenting how good they are and asked what the ingredients are. When I told them they immediately stopped eating them saying they did not like artichokes.

questions about this recipe

Dried or fresh oregano?
Served warm, room temp, or cold?
Can they be made ahead?

Thanks in advance.

I served them at room temp. I used dried oregano and fresh parsley, because that is what I had in

the house. When I tried to remove them from the pan when they were "warm", they did not cut well. So I think room temp was better.

Thanks; do you think they can be made ahead and brought back up to room temp for service?

Wow! I forgot about those. Funny. Last night we had a Thanksgiving side dish party.

The artichoke dish was from an appetizer party back in 2007. Apparently I like food in themes. smileys/smile.gif

Another question

I'm assuming that you've got 2 c. of cheese in all, rather than 2c each of cheddar, mozarella and parm?

Pam, a few notes...

Follow the recipe, using the 4 eggs listed.

Also for the cheese, it's a mixture cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan. Combined, they total 2 cups.

Hope that helps!
