How ironic: I have her photography book checked out. It's lovely.

Her eyes are a bazillion times more precise than mine. I'm reading the section on RAW versus JPG images with regard to post-processing and I honestly couldn't see the key differences she points out in a set of eight variants for the same image.

And I looked!

I think RAW matters more for images in books and magazines, or ones that will be blown up.

 
most cameras unless HIGH end dslrs can't do raw images. High pixels

are probably enough for most of us.
