This was such a delicious quickie the other night......Tortolini and Pesto Sauce

I cooked a bag of that delicious "homemade" tortalini one buys in the store these days, then after draining I added a little left over oil from the feta cheese bottle (just a wee touch of salt for my DH)

I used the cheese tortalini but there are various fillings available and then I covered this with a goodly dose of homemade nutty basil pesto and over that I dolloped a heaping spoon of my new fav. cheese sauce.

Camembert. This comes as a creamy, cheesey, pure camembert. Dont know if it is found in the States at general supermarkets but I'm sure it is to be found at Whole Foods and the like.

OHHHH it was so good.

I think I know the feta cheese you're referring to. I used to buy it there too. I often used it as

a salad vinaigrette, the oil I mean. Good stuff.

Lol Ang, not much to report....

started a job that consummed me which I loved so much, in tourism, and after 7 months of it a new GM was brought on board. Less than 3 weeks later the hooks were gong out, the office became a nightmare and 2 months later I quit. Fortunately I am not a young un that has to work so I could.
Now I have many other things to keep me busy including our own business but I will still have much more time to spend chatting here and gleaning new recipes and cooking again. My DH is rather relieved (well, so am I to tell the truth, he can only "cook" raw... like salmon, tuna and tuna, salmon...Lol!)

How is DH's blood pressure? Sounds like you have learned alot about cooking to lower it.

Thanks for asking, it is a little lower and he has lost a lot of weight but is now far too skinny...

why can't I loose weight????? I loose, then gain, on a never ending round about.....I feel awful if I eat three days of raw fish, he thrives on that alone!!!
