Simple icing made from powdered sugar. I add a dash of vanilla...
...liquid (or gel) food coloring and enough water or milk to allow it to be piped through squeeze bottles.
I get the small condiment bottles at a restaurant supply store for about .75 cents and fill each with a different color icing. Set them "nose down" in coffee mugs in the center of the table and let the kids go at it!
