...confirmation as to how we should address the packages so they get to DJ as quickly as possible.

Good news is that we can each send them directly to DJ and his unit.

Michael, marg gave me the address a few months ago and I send boxes from up here. I think it would

be easier if everyone sent their own boxes instead of trying to collect them and then send. Just my 2 cents worth. I think the baked goods would be fresher with less delay. the PO flat rate boxes(free boxes, just pay the flat rate postage) are perfect for sending goodies, and the PO personnel are very helpful with the form that needs to be filled out for customs. I reinforced the box closure with extra tape.

 
Yes, AngAK, I agree. That is how I plan to pull this off. I have been gathering info...

...about DJ and his buddies so each of us can send his own package directly to DJ, or, possibly, directly to a soldier in his unit.

Hi Sandra. I don't think that would be a problem. I'll check, but I would think...

...a package from down-under would be just fine.

Of course, they'd hafta turn it right side up, but I'm sure they can manage it... they're not Marines, after all.

...she did mention that "goodies" of any kind are always welcome. These are healthy, strappin' American boys, after all.
