I had a friend in high school who could never get them open; perhaps some folks need instructions!

Did you know bananas split into thirds? Works well to entice kids.

It's easiest to take a 2" piece and gently work it apart lengthwise. Kids can see how they fit together and see the banana seeds.

{I was shown this by a pediatric nurse. I still do it amuse people.}

I had a friend in high school who could split an apple into two clean halves with

his bare hands. Thirty years later and I'm still sooooo jealous!
