To check out: Cranberry-Pecan Rye Bread

Thanks, Cyn, I just happen to be making some today. I'm doing a cheese tray Friday

and you just gotta have the bread.

I DO wish you'd paid attention to my bread recipes in the past, Steve, but I welcome new converts.

I've stopped making this one in the processor--I use the mixer and keep it quite moist. Whatever method you use, it's a nice formula which just has to be enjoyed with cheese.

TJ's usually has both white and black figs, so I use both.

Goat cheeses and blue cheeses. It's ultimate purpose is as blue cheese crouons--

toast it, top with cheese and broil briefly--to garnish a salad with pear slices and grapefruit segments.
