Meryl - I made the Oatmeal Streusel Cookies.... my review
DH said on a scale of 1-10, he ranked them 9... he also said he ranked my usual recipe a 9. So, because of that, I wouldn't go to the trouble of making these again since it takes twice as long to do. You have to make the streusel, bake it, then let it cool completely and chop it up before adding it to the oatmeal cookie dough. That said, the streusel (delicious for other uses, too), makes 4 cups of streusel and you only need 1-1/2 for the recipe, so you can use it for other things (like on ice cream, to top fruit crisp, on your cereal, etc.).
The certainly get a thumbs-up, though, if anyone is interested in trying them - you get those bites of super-crunch with the traditional oatmeal cookie.
