yesterday i had a CT Scan of my sinuses. the bad news is that they showed that my sinuses are squeaky clean and not the source of the problem.

yesterday, i had blood tests to check for lyme disease. However, there are about a dozen symptoms of lyme disease and i only have one of them. the symptoms also include high fever, rashes and swollen lymph nodes, none of which i have. i must be missing something because my ent and my neurologist who i respect VERY highly jumped on lyme.

i'll also got tested for esr (The erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR—the rate at which red blood cells settle to the bottom of a test tube containing blood) may be determined to check for temporal arteritis. A high ESR suggests inflammation {that was a subtle cut and paste, btw}) which will indicate if my backaches are due to blood from a lesion in my brain is seeping down my spine and settling in my back.

If either the first test is negative or the second is positive, they will do an MRI on Tuesday.

in the meantime i have every intention to grow old with my true love.

well we are all hoping that the news continues to be good...arteritis???

huh! I am struggling not to succumb to that! keep telling my back that if it carries on like this I will find another back...threats aren't working so I guess we will have to try another approach here. Darn!
In the meantime I am off for a month to the UK...R 'n R needed.

Sos frustrating for you to be in the dark.....

If there is any slight symptom, don't forget a check for West Nile. I know that most of what you are reporting in terms of symptoms is not close but that disease was and still is so unknown.

I got it the first year it arrived and because it was so new, the doctor was very late at diagnosing. The whole process was really botched. I am very grateful to have had a healthy immune system then as some others were sadly affected permanently.

Keep us informed if you can. I'm thinking of you.

How frustrating, yes! Keep the positive thoughts for sure,

it totally makes a huge difference.

well, it's still prolly a brain tumor, but they're getting to be a piece of cake.

Love your great, positive outlook...Especially your intention of growing old (m)

with your true love...(Have to add, and fK)

You and your TL continue to be in my prayers. Thx for the update.

All the best,
Barb
