It was stated last night, and was int he oven all night at 250°. The house smelled so wonderful this morning when we awoke!

I made some cole slaw and we'll wrap the meat, slaw, some shredded cheese and either pan sauce or salsa in some tortillas.

The recipe is in the archives...see the link.

Thanks, Debbie!

(I still fondly remember our dinner at Agnes & Muriel's!)

Many of the Etsy Mud Team...

potters contribute to Empty Bowls projects. I keep looking for one locally, but have yet to find one.

Are you near Petersburg? A woman named Tara, her shop is Five Finger Pottery, is a Mud Team Member.

Have a fun time. I love seeing other potters work!

Petersburg, oh no, not close---671 miles SE of me, but closer to Nan.

They made 1800 bowls for the event tomorrow. It's just amazing to walk through the tables and see all those bowls displayed. I have such a hard time picking one. The silent auction items are also amazing. One year my stepdaughter was up visiting and the craft clubhouse here on base was asking for help glazing the bowls that had been made. So, we went on over and glazed some bowls. It was fun trying to find those bowls amongst all the others at the event. there's a mix of bowls donated by clay artists and also school kids and the mentally disabled crafters and here on base, etc etc. The 2 soups offered are a Pumpkin chili, and a Texas navy bean. this is decided by a soup cookoff earlier in the year. I'll see if I can find the recipe link, if there is one.
