I was searching for some sort of roller or otherwise for poking the little fork holes in shortbread. Has anyone seen anything like this? The only thing that I've come up with in searches are industrial "rotary molds" and things like skewers or antique wooden things for decorative purposes, and of course the steel and ceramic molds.

thank you. out on an errand and checked in on my cell to see if anyone had replied

so great timing making some for Mothers' Day

In our family the tradition is to use a cooking fork, it's got longer tines than a dining fork

with a bone or wooden handle. Gives the shortbread that "right" look... Also the palm and finger impressions on the dough from flattening it are also essential smileys/smile.gif
