If you knew what a total geek I am about the space program you'd understand my nerdom, but thought you might enjoy, even though they likely will show all kinds of kewl photos from the GG bridge on the news.

Shuttle flies behind Hangar 1, NASA Ames Research Center @ Moffett Field, CA (where they designed the heat shield and parts of the shuttle so they got a tip o' the hat low flyover; the hangar is being stripped of it's skin b/c of asbestos, hopefully to be reskinned at some point. One of the largest freestanding structures in the world.)

Sure wish they flew back around so everyone could see it more than once, but it still was a very awesome sight to behold!
