anyone had this happen?

I upgraded my Firefox to the latest version, that promises to be faster, better... but I don't like the way this site looks now.

The font is smaller and of a different kind.

I am just wondering if anyone has tips on how to deal with it?

Thanks and sorry for the hijack from food issues...

Sally, have you gone into Options and adjusted font style and size? I'm about to do the upgrade so

I'll weigh back in if I learn anything interesting.

Hated it --- uninstalled and downgraded.

I'm on Windows 7 and FF has a whole new layout. I downloaded it to the new laptop and was in a hurry to get the one I was returning in the mail so I wouldn't get charged for 2. Didn't want to deal with the new layout/etc so downgraded to the same version from the other pc...still haven't been able to load my bookmarks yet though. Haven't had too much time to trouble shoot though.

Also I saw on the FF forums lots of folks were having problems so all the more reason for me to stick with an older version for now. I'm running 3.6.16

Upgrade completed and except for very minor tweaks, looks & behaves identical for me.

Now, I'm still using XP so that might be a factor.

I tweaked the font for a little bigger one in Options, but in this site...

... it made no difference. Very strange.

all other sites seem fine

(sigh)

That works indeed for the size...

... although the font is pretty pathetic looking, and I cannot change that, I don't think

Overall, I am not impressed by this upgrade, but will see if I can get used to it.

thanks for the tip!

Sally, you can change the font by going to Tools, Options, Content tab, Fonts & Colors,Default Font

You should be able to chose whatever font you have on your computer and certainly whichever ones you used here before.

For more detailed choices, instead of going into "Default Font" select the "Advanced" button, just to the right. That gives you all the options you'd want.

Never mind, I see it was an add on to grab recipes from the next and save them. Wish I'd known

sooner, prolly woulda saved me alot of time cutting and pasting although it never seemed like much of an issue.

Wonder if we wrote the person who designed it we could convince them to create an upgrade for 4.0.
