Transfer recipes from Win XP to Win &

How have you guys transferred your recipes that were located on Win XP computer to a new computer running the newer platform Windows 7?

There should be no issues at all...

personally the easiest way for me, that also gives me a back-up copy, is to move everything to a flash drive, then copy over to the new computer.

Then I still use the flash to back-up and have a copy of my files I keep with me. I have one flash drive just for recipes that I keep with me to have when traveling/work/etc.

Hi Oli... when I imported everything to Win 7, they just went into where I

put them automatically. Are you keeping them in a particular software program or just using Word? I just keep them in Word, but I had no problems.

I have mine on my old computer in a recipe program called MicroCookbook

I have them on floppy and on CD, or maybe its a DVD, I don't remember, since I am at work.

Did all of mine. No trouble. In fact I transferred from WP 11 on XP to WP 13 on Windows 7.

No adjustment necessary.

I guess I don't understand the problem. Any of mine with photos, transferred perfectly, with photos

I guess I don't understand, what is WP 13?

I thought it is Word Perfect. If I am mistaken can photos from a recipe file be stored in Word Perfect?
Sorry, but sometimes I am not up on abbreviations.

Yes, WP is WordPerfect. My favourite. And definitely, I have lots of photos stored with recipes;

it's all part of the document. They transfer as part of the doc with no changes occurring at all.

Thank you very much, I will look into it. One more question.........

Is the only reason people pay for a recipe program is for the extra features such as calorie count?
