Trying to use my freezer more. Need tips. Does anyone do this? Crockpot prep frozen.

You've been on my mind as well. Hopefully some everyday

activities like browsing this forum help.

Aww...thanks. I just got back from a 3,600 mile trip to my brother's funeral. The

funeral director said it was the largest turnout he's ever seen. My heart broke in a thousand pieces hearing my father cry out, uncontrollably. 80 year old women insisted on cooking for the post funeral reception. I now know what frog eye salad is. smileys/smile.gif One woman with Christmas bells stitched on her sweater told me, "Last time I saw your brother, he was mopping our floor." It was amazing to hear stories from people who knew him in a different capacity than I did.

He was in the process of running a marathon in every state in the United States. We found his medals. He had 20 states under his belt before he passed. One of his running buddies tipped us off to a neat charity that reuses those medals...giving them to kids with illnesses. While it's a bit early to start clearing things out, I'm fairly certain the many medals we've discovered will go to this organization. http://www.medals4mettle.org/

Nice tribute, eh?

This is so sad, Traca...

… I cannot even begin to imagine the shock of someone as healthy as your brother passing away unexpectedly like this

One marathon per state! What a fantastic goal, and I am sure he inspired many many people along the path of his training.

I know you will have many moments of deep sadness ahead, and there's no way to avoid them, so I offer a little virtual hug….

I've been thinking about you Traca and sorry you've had to deal with the loss of your brother.

A very good tribute indeed.

Take care (((Traca))).

Traca, I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you.

Passing on his medals is such a wonderful idea. His motivation and energy will continue to inspire others.
