Tuesday is our wedding anniverary. Looking for a simple, elegant meal. Any ideas?

Happy anniversary! If you were dating in high school / college, then I think $ were

always on your mind... i.e. special nights during dating were probably chinese food or wings. I would go for the memory dinner, w. laughs about memories.

OR.... IF you have a fun food memory from your honeymoon, you can do that!!!

Oh my gosh! We went to England and Scotland for our honeymoon--so many good meals.

We took our honeymoon on our one-year anniversary, and were staying with Andy's cousins in England. They somehow found out that it was our anniversary (we didn't tell them), and cooked us an elaborate six-course meal. We started with before-dinner drinks, each course had its own wine--even the dessert and cheese course--and there were after-dinner drinks. They lived in a very old house with uneven staircases; we'd had so much to drink that we could barely get up them to go to bed.

I still have the menu somewhere; I should replicate that dinner. That would be loads of fun.

 
Or you can make an "Elegant" tea.... Fancy plates, tea sandwiches, clotted cream, home made jam.
