two cookie reviews.... Korova Cookies and Cinnamon Roll Cookies

These come in very handy during the holidays as they are both refrigerator cookies. I make them up and keep them in the freezer when I need additional cookies for my Christmas baskets.

The Cinnamon Roll Cookie was posted by CactusSue and is a basic cinnamon cookie, nice texture, although I wouldn't label them "over the top", "fantastic" or "to die for" (after all, there is no chocolate involved *g*).

Cinnamon Roll Cookie:

I frosted them but DH, DD and I all agreed it didn't add a thing to the cookies. The next batch I used gold sanding sugar on them and like them better. Plus, they are pretty.

The little chocolate squares are Korova Cookies (aka World Peace Cookies) from Dorie Greenspan's Paris Sweets. VERY chocolaty (I probably added too much of that Trader Joe's Pound Plus 72% bar...) and not too sweet, which is nice. It's like a chocolate shortbread cookie.
