any restuarants that are your favs.....do I need to book for any way in advance as I do when going to London. I am going to be there in July.

I don't really like Chelsea Mkt, joanie. It's really pricey and touristy and there is

only ONE bathroom in the entire market! What are you looking to do. Shopping (great knockoffs!) walking tours (lower East side (great ny deli's), Chinatown and the Italian section (great gelato) can be done in a long afternoon. Or do you plan on seeing a show?
Sorry if I missed a previous post that answered this.

Hi Joanie, I often rely on my Zagats...If you let me know the location you are interested in

or the type of food, I would be happy to write out the names of the recomendations. Completely agree with Cyn, you should book in advance. Should be a fun trip!

Barb

My favorite NY restaurant - ElFaro's on Greenwich and Horatio sts. in the village. I think Ron has

eaten there too and loved it. It is spanish -
real spanish and the 2nd genration is running it now.
