Uh oh... I'm seeing that a lot of the links found when doing a search, do

not work. Links to posts within Eat.at, I mean, not external websites. I get a message "Problem loading page, server not found. Firefox can't find the server at www.finerkitchens.com".

Is this a temporary problem, or one of the pitfalls of losing the old site/server, whatever changed? The posts found when doing a search work, it's just the links within some of the posts.

Can you give me an example of a post that the link is not working? Seem OK here

Funny you should ask - it was one of your posts!

I was looking for "Apple Pancakes" and saw your post linking to CathyZ's recipe (I don't know why I didn't just go to her post directly, as that one came up too, but I didn't).

The post I chose was http://eat.at/swap/forum/index.php?action=display&forumid=1&msgid=30191 and when I click on the link that you provided there, I get an error message.

The problem is the old link points to FinerKitchens which is no more, but if you replace with Eat.At

it works. This was a problem I noticed before Eat.At went down - there was a lot of dead links. I just tried replacing Eat.At for the Finerkitchens.com part of the string and it worked -- see link.

This is such a fun seasonal breakfast. While the links are not working, the recipe is wonderful. Thanks for the reminder....

This is a T&T REC made in two cake pans in the oven. Very easy to make, very delicious to eat!

GERMAN APPLE PANCAKES ( Serves 4)

4 eggs
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
2 apples, cooking type, sliced thinly
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Heat oven to 400°. Place 2 round layer cake pans in oven. Beat eggs, flour, milk and salt in mixer bowl at medium speed (or in food processor) for 1 minute.
Remove pans from oven and place 2 T butter in each. Rotate pans until butter melts and coats sides of pans.
Arrange half of apple slices in each pan. Divide batter evenly between pans. Mix sugar and cinnamon, and divide between the pans.
Bake, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes or until puffed and golden.
Serve with syrup, applesauce, powdered sugar or fruit.
