Unconventional "pastry" tool

For those of you who do a lot of baking I have found a clear acrylic 6 1/2 by 24 1/2 quilting ruler to be a great help in measuring and squaring up rolled out doughs. When I made Olga's Easter Pastry the dough was to be rolled to 24 inch square, then folded and rolled and cut to various sizes. Worked great & they are easy to clean & readily available. Places that sell sewing supplies, like Jo-Ann's, run frequent sales and coupon campaigns so you can pick them up pretty inexpensively on sale.

I use one a lot too

Mostly for cutting strips of pie dough for lattice crusts (who does that anymore?) but handy for all kinds of things.

I'd show you a nice blueberry pie from a few weeks ago but I don't know how to post a photo.
