Update on baby Allie for those that were asking...

She had all of the tubes for breathing and feeding removed Wed. night and is now breathing and eating on her own and doing great. If all continues, she'll finally be going home tomorrow after spending two weeks in the NICU. Amazing the advances in healtcare. One of the older nurses told us that only a few years ago, babies usually died from natal meconium aspiration, now they usually all live. Great news.https://recipeswap.org/fun/wp-content/uploads/Finer_Kitchens/Allie.jpg

She is adorable! That is such great news, Richard, I'll bet everyone is very

anxious for her to be at home.

My sis went through similar with both of her boys, and it is so stressful.

I hope Baby Allie is up for all of the spoiling coming her way. smileys/bigsmile.gif

I was just wondering how she was doing, thanks for the great news! smileys/smile.gif

I can hear her now, "I've had just about enough of this! Take me home for Russian Potatoes, now!"
