Vegan cooking, anyone?

After working 60-80 hours a week for over a year (key word: I work for a newspaper. The future isn't exactly bright......) and living on quick carbs and too many scones, I have put my foot down and decided to change.

I have looked around on the net and I really like Dr. Joel Fuhrmans diet, or rather, life style.

I have cooked a few vegan dishes and tried a few recipes since I started a couple of weeks ago, and I actually like it more than I thought I would. I'd love to share my T&T vegan recipes with you if you'd like to try them too

(But I will follow the Fuhrman advice about eating 90% healthy foods and 10% of eating what I like so I might share a few cookie recipes now and then... smileys/wink.gif

Hi Eva...so nice to see you! Sounds like you're a flexitarian (I love that term). I just bought

a "vegan slow cooker" cookbook and have been reading an Indian vegan cookbook. She swears roasting the tofu gives it depth. I haven't tested it yet, but plan to.
